Privacy Statement

Artificial Grass Specialists B.V., established at Botterweg 12-M in (8042 PA) Zwolle and registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 86171135, values your privacy. We are involved in selling artificial grass (B2B). In this context, we come into contact with personal data. When processing this personal data, we comply with current laws and regulations, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as the GDPR). The privacy statement below explains how Artificial Grass Specialists handles your (personal) data. This statement applies to all users and customers of the Artificial Grass Specialists website and services. 


General

Artificial Grass Specialists processes your personal data in the performance of its services. 

We comply with the GDPR at all times and the processing of personal data is always done carefully. All data we have received from you will be treated confidentially and is only used and processed for its designated purpose. Data is never kept longer than legally permitted. 


Personal data

The GDPR (Article 4) contains the definition of personal data: ‘all information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person’. This concerns information that is directly about someone and can be traced back to a specific person. This includes name and address details, date of birth, email address or telephone number. Furthermore, the GDPR recognises special personal data that deserves extra protection. We do not need this data and we therefore recommend never sending it to us. This concerns data such as religion, belief, race, ethnic origin, criminal data, political affiliation, data relating to sexuality and/or health. 


When do we collect personal data? 

As stated, collecting personal data is part of our services. We collect your personal data in the following situations: 

a. When you fill in the contact form on the website to request samples

In this case, we ask for your company details, your first name and surname, email address and telephone number, so we can contact you regarding the message and send the samples. By leaving the data, you give us permission to process the data. 

b. When you create an account on the website

In this case, we ask for company details, your first name and surname, email address and telephone number. By creating an account, you give us permission to process the data. 

c. When you send us an email or WhatsApp message for any reason 

When you send us an email, we will receive at least your email address and most likely your first name and surname. If you send us a WhatsApp message, we will receive at least your telephone number and most likely your name. By sending an email or a WhatsApp message you give us permission to process this data. 

In cases a, b and c, you have the option to send a free message. This means you can send more personal data than we need. We therefore urge you to exercise restraint in sharing (additional) personal data. 

d. When you place an order with us and purchase one of our services

If you purchase our services, we ask for company details, your first name and surname, email address and telephone number. By using one of our services, you give us permission to process the data. This data is used in the context of the execution of the agreement.

e. When you start working with us 

If you are being employed by Artificial Grass Specialists, we collect the following personal data:

  • First name and surname;
  • Nationality;
  • Proof of ID;
  • Place and date of birth;
  • Bank account number;
  • E-mail address;
  • Telephone number;
  • Marital status.


As an employer, we need this data to comply with our statutory obligations. 


How long do we keep your data? 

We always keep your data with due care and never longer than the statutory retention period. If no retention period is regulated by law, we do not keep data longer than necessary. We currently apply a retention period of 12 months after the contract has been terminated.

 

Website visits

You can visit our website without providing us with any personal data. We do use cookies and website statistics. This means we collect information about how the user uses the website in order to improve our services. However, this does not provide any identifiable information about the user. 


What data do we share with other parties? 

Artificial Grass Specialists B.V. only provides information to third parties for the execution of our agreement with you (if necessary for the execution of the agreement) or to comply with a statutory obligation.


Data protection by Artificial Grass Specialists

We always make every effort to take appropriate measures to protect your personal data. For example, employees of Artificial Grass Specialists only have access to the data if this is necessary for their work. Data that is not necessary will never be shared with employees. 


However, despite all measures, others may unlawfully obtain your personal data. This is referred to as a data breach. If this occurs, we urgently request that you report it via info@artificialgrass.nl attn. Alois Maton (Data Protection Officer). This allows us to take immediate action. If you feel your data is not protected properly or if there are signs of misuse, please get in touch with us at info@artificialgrass.nl


What rights do you have?

You can exercise the following rights by sending an email to info@artificialgrass.nl:


  1. The right to change your data or have it deleted

You have the right to have personal data changed or deleted. This is also possible if the processing is no longer justified. Please note, there are statutory exceptions.  

a. The right to restriction

In certain cases, you can ask us to temporarily stop the processing of data. This is possible, for example, if you have submitted a change in data

b. The right to information and access

You have the right to know which of your personal data we have on record. You can request an overview of this personal data from us.

c. The right to object

You can always object to certain processing of your personal data, for example, if you have not given permission for this.

Changes 

The above privacy statement can be adjusted by us. The most current version can be found on our website.
